Waiting for some last illustrations, then pdf's will be ready

Hello Mimics,
it's time for an update. I'm just waiting for some of the last illustrations to come from the artists, then I can wrap up the layout and send out the pdf. Printing will start in the very next days.
I know I should have given you more updates as the time was passing and I'm really sorry about that. The rough patch is not yet over, and its consequences are weighing heavily, but that is no excuse for the lack of communication. I ask for your forgiveness.
In the hope of cheering you up a little, I leave you with some of the illustrations (and a sketch) I received from the artists, which you will find inside the book.

Hello Mimics,
it's been a while since I've updated you and I feel it's appropriate to do so.
The past three months have been very difficult, some of the worst I have ever lived. Among you backers there are some who know me personally and know what I am talking about, but I don't want to bore everyone with unnecessary details. I know you are not here for that.
In spite of the period, I think I will manage to keep to the schedule I had planned. I have continued working on the adventure, and we are almost there. Some tests are missing and some graphics issues remain to be sorted out, but I should be able to send you the digital versions by the end of July.
Everything else will follow.
I would have liked to be faster, I would have loved to positively surprise you by sending the adventure earlier, but various events forced me to slow down the work, a lot.
I also wanted to finish earlier because a dear friend and excellent designer presented me with a great project he would like to publish for the next ZineQuest, and I would have loved to work with him on its publication. Luckily I found someone who could work on it for me and they will probably manage to submit it here on Kickstarter just in time, but I would have liked to put my name on it as well, as it is a really nice project.
OK, enough complaining.
Mimics are coming. The train they are travelling on, obviously also a Mimic, has had a few breakdowns and slowdowns, but is running to meet the scheduled arrival time at the station.
Also a Mimic, clearly.
If you feel like waiting for it, be careful not to sit on the benches. You already know why.

[ITA] Salve Mimic,
è un po' che non vi aggiorno e mi pare il caso di farlo.
Gli scorsi tre mesi sono stati molto difficili, tra i peggiori che abbia mai trascorso. Tra voi sostenitori ci sono alcuni che mi conoscono personalmente e sanno di cosa parlo, ma non voglio annoiare tutti con dettagli inutili, so che non siete qui per questo.
Nonostante il periodo, credo che riuscirò a rispettare i tempi che avevo previsto. Ho continuato a lavorare all'avventura, e ci siamo quasi. Mancano alcuni test e restano da sistemare alcune questioni grafiche, ma dovrei riuscire a inviarvi le versioni digitali per la fine di Luglio.
A seguire, tutto il resto.
Avrei voluto essere più veloce, mi sarebbe piaciuto sorprendervi positivamente inviandovi l'avventura in anticipo, ma vari eventi mi hanno costretto a rallentare di molto il lavoro.
Avrei voluto finire prima anche perché un caro amico e ottimo designer mi ha presentato un progetto eccezionale che vorrebbe pubblicare per il prossimo ZineQuest, ed avrei tanto voluto poter lavorare con lui alla sua pubblicazione. Per fortuna ho trovato qualcuno che poteva lavorarci al posto mio e probabilmente riuscirà a presentarlo qui su Kickstarter in tempo, ma avrei voluto metterci anche il mio nome, visto che è davvero un bel progetto.
Ok, basta lamentele.
I Mimic arriveranno. Il treno su cui viaggiano, ovviamente anch'esso un Mimic, ha avuto qualche guasto e rallentamento, ma sta correndo per rispettare l'orario previsto per l'arrivo in stazione.
Anche questa un Mimic, chiaramente.
Se vi va di aspettarlo, state attenti a non sedervi sulle panchine. Sapete già perché.

Module writing is going on, and we're super relaxed here.
In the meantime, I was able to set up a late pledge page for anyone who wants to jump on the campaign but missed it when it was live, so if you know anyone who might be interested, you can let them know. You can find it here.
Over the last few days I have been receiving information about Mimics being spotted a bit all over the world.
The fact that they are still groggy from being in a new world and are easy to spot doesn't fool you: they are very quick to adapt and if we don't catch them quickly they will certainly become a problem.
Be careful, if there is an extra bedside table next to your bed, call the nearest party of adventurers and ask them to intervene.

[ITA] La scrittura del modulo va avanti, e qui siamo tranquillissimi.
Nel frattempo, sono riuscito ad organizzare una pagina per il late pledge per chiunque lo volesse, quindi se conoscete qualcuno che potrebbe essere interessato potete farglielo presente.Lo trovate qui.
Negli ultimi giorni ho ricevuto informazioni in merito a Mimic che vengono individuati un po' in tutto il mondo.
Il fatto che siano ancora intontiti dal trovarsi in un mondo nuovo e siano facili da riconoscere non vi inganni: sono velocissimi ad ambientarsi, e se non li catturiamo alla svelta diventeranno certamente un problema.
Fate attenzione, se accanto al vostro letto c'è un comodino in più, chiamate il più vicino party di avventurieri e chiedete loro di intervenire.

Hello Mimics,
while I'm writing the adventure and avoiding bites, I'm also trying to give a chance to late pledge to all those who asked for it.
It should be up within the next few days, as it takes some times for Backerkit to review and approve everything.
I'll update you as soon as it's ready and working. In the meantime, be careful: some of the smaller Mimics have escaped from my house and I think they are now going around gnawing on people.

mentre scrivo l'avventura ed evito morsi, cerco anche di dare la possibilità di sostenere il progetto in ritardo a coloro che l'hanno chiesto.
Il late pledge dovrebbe essere disponibile entro i prossimi giorni, dato che a Backerkit serve un po' di tempo per rivedere e approvare il tutto.
Vi informerò non appena questo sarà pronto e funzionante. Nel frattempo, fate attenzione: alcuni dei Mimic più piccoli sono scappati da casa mia e credo che adesso siano in giro ad azzannare persone.

Hello Mimics,
I am so happy right now. I didn't expect so many people to show love for this campaign, it's been incredible!
When I said that everyone loves Mimics I was probably right.
So, now what happens? What happens is that I get to work (not that I've ever stopped working, to be honest) and do everything I can to deliver the best adventure I can write.
I have no better way to say thank you.
I'll update you as progress is made, and maybe I'll bother you to ask for your opinions on some elements that are still being finalized. With all the Stretch Goals you've unlocked, I'm going to have my hands full, and I'll be overjoyed to do so.
See you very soon, then, and thanks again, from the bottom of my heart.

sono davvero felice in questo momento. Non mi aspettavo così tante persone a mostrare amore per questa campagna, è stato incredibile!
Quando dicevo che tutti amano i Mimic probabilmente avevo ragione.
E adesso che succede? Succede che mi metto al lavoro (non che abbia mai smesso di lavorare, ad essere sinceri) e faccio tutto il possibile per consegnarvi la migliore avventura che posso.
Non ho modo migliore per ringraziarvi.
Vi aggiornerò man mano che ci saranno progressi e magari vi disturberò per chiedere il vostro parere su alcuni elementi ancora in via di definizione. Con tutti gli Stretch Goal che avete sbloccato, avrò un bel po' da fare e sarò felicissimo di farlo.
